 We like to have visitors, whether they are seriously considering membership or just
curious. To request a visit with Sandhill, we ask that people first
send us a letter describing themselves, their experience or interest
in community and our rural lifestyle, their interest in Sandhill, and
what they hope to get out of a visit. This can be done via e-mail (visitors@sandhillfarm.org)
or the postal mail. Tell us approximately
when you'd like to visit. If you are looking for an extended visit,
please check out our internship
program. On the basis of this correspondence, we generally extend an
offer to visit for up to a week. We do not have fixed visiting
periods, though we ask your consideration in finding a time that is
comfortable for the community as well as a good fit for you. See our

of the year. While there is no visiting fee, donations are
appreciated. It is expected that visitors will help out with work
